Hi, I work in a library and people are always recommending
really good books. We were talking about Christmas books
and someone said she'd read a really great book a few years ago. It was a Family Saga but really funny about an elderly
couple waiting for their four children, spouses and grandchildren to arrive. The mother's been planning and preparing for ages but everything goes wrong. The kids all fall out, everybody rows and then her husband tells her he's leaving her. It's set in Britain by a British author but my friend can't remember who it's by or what it's called. Can anyone help, this is driving me nuts. I've been hunting on-line for ages. She thinks the author may be called Shaw and the book is something like "Home for Christmas" or "Coming Home for Christmas". I think it maybe out of print now as it was a few years old. Can anybody help me? I'll be eternally grateful. Thank you.
What's this book? Can anyone please help?
