What nice people our readers are, is a phrase that often echoes round newbooks Towers. Evidence this email, received from Steve Valentine who, for reasons unknown but I suspect downsizing, has to relinquish an extensive collection of back issues of newbooks. Anyone taking up this offer will see a remarkable evolution in the magazine over the last 10 years (and perhaps discover some skeletons in the closet!).

Dear newbooks people
I have issues 1 to 55 and would be happy to pass them on to anyone who wants them, so if you know of anyone who wants back copies - all together not just odd copies - please let me know.
I am sorry that I had to give up my subscription, but if there is a good home for these, that would be a good outcome. They need to be collected. I live in Wiltshire.
